Hey guys,

Don't know if you've seen this game already or not, but it looks pretty good. Actually thinking of purchasing the Alpha access. It' $19.99, gives you access to the current alpha build, which supports multiplayer through dedicated servers. It's a zombie fps survival game. You can play solo, or work as a team. It supports offline play as well. In the same style of release that Minecraft took, The Dead Linger gives you a discounted Alpha price, with lifetime updates and access to the game. Again, following the same trend as Minecraft, it's an immense world. They call it "planet sized". Around 65K KM's in size. It's randomly generated using a variety of tile sets, to create all sorts of environments such as forested areas, towns, hills, and as each release happens, more and more. They just released a patch with farm and prison tile sets.

The game uses a persistant world running on a dedicated server software, meaning just like Minecraft you can run it yourself.

Anyone interested in dropping $20 and getting the game with me?

So I bought into the Alpha. Cost $20. I set up a server as well. I'll be playing daily. So far it's been cool. Scared me a few times already.

Went ahead and bought it, it's only $20 and sounds interesting enough.

It's a little glitchy from time to time. The next major release is 008, which I think is coming soon. Already found a major bug that causes every client to crash when viewing the server browser screen and reported it to them.

I can't join your server, it just crashes every time, I can join other servers though.
And yeah the game is massively buggy but it's alpha.
