I am wondering why the teamspeak server drops to 0 people every night (at like 4am est), I know that I generally stay in the AFK channel all night. Do you restart the server every night Mimic?

Nope. The server stays up all the time. If you click on the server name in TS3 you'll see the uptime listed in the info pane. Right now it's standing at 2 days, 23 hours, 25 minutes. Last time I restarted the server was for upgrades from beta 17 to beta 18.

Checked my connection log in my client, I try to leave myself connected all the time, and I didn't get disconnected at all in the last 24 hours.

That's you going to AFK channel at 11:06pm EST last night. Some of us are west coasters, so we'll stay up playing till mid-night or shortly after sometimes, then leave. Shadow, Grantron, Free Man, thejacob, and TehCodehzor all left at almost 1am PST (4am EST) last night.

It's probably just people clearing out to go to bed and not leaving themselves connected.

I guess I'm referring to the gametracker site. If you will notice at approx 3am, 6am, and 9:30am, it drops to 0 people. But as you say we never left. It drops to 0 people every single night.

It must be a gametracker thing. I don't know.

Ya, its weird...

If you look at the other gametracker TS3 servers being tracked they do the same thing.

maybe it has something to do with the afk channel?
something to do with the mute making it show to gametracker as no one on.

That's what I was initially thinking but if you look at the number of people it has registered online at any given time and count the people online (including in the AFK channel) you will notice that it only evens up when you count the AFK'ers as well.

Back up. Server decided it would be a good idea to reboot for some reason. TS3 is not set to start up automatically. I'll get this resolved today hopefully.
