Regulations and Rules of Conduct

Thanks for your interest in =LB=!

1. NO CHEATING

   • NO =LB= member will cheat*, store online cheats or associate themselves with cheaters.
   • NO =LB= member will glitch**. All members will actively avoid glitches that they know, find or are informed about.
   • Should credible accusations of cheating or gliching occur, the member will be subjected to a comprehensive examination of their actions and are susceptible to a computer scan for game cheats and/or edited .ini files by ranking officers. If the conclusion of that examination agrees with the allegations then the member will be instantly removed from =LB=.

*Cheat: any alteration of the official game code and associated files or any utilization of a programmed that is meant to alter the behavior of the game in a way that either gives an advantage to players using it or gives a disadvantage to players not using it. Example: wall hacks, speed cheats, stat padding

**Glitch: use of any behavior of the game that is either undocumented or unintended by the manufacturer in order to increase the own personal performance or decrease the performance of others. Example: glitches in walls

2. REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN =LB=

   • Recruits must be at least 18 years of age.
   • Exceptions are considered by the maturity of the applicant, Command Core discussion, Divisional Council Vote and Poll Ratification.

3. CHAIN OF COMMAND

   • =LB= utilizes a Chain of Command (COC) in the organization of teams, relay of orders, and flow of information to achieve success on the battlefield.
   • =LB= primarily is a group of friends.
   • If an issue can be resolved on a reasonable and friendly basis it will If a member has an issue or complaint they cannot resolve in a friendly manner, it must to be brought to the Chain of Command. This is the intention of the COC to address concerns, arise at solution and explain policy so this community can co-exist in unity.
   • No =LB= member should pass over their direct leader with requests unless ordered to do so by a Chain of Command above their direct leader, or if their request is not being handled. Issues with and about a direct COC leader also have to be taken up through the COC.
   • No COC leader will suppress requests but will forward them up the COC immediately.
   • The Division Officer (DO) is the top end of the divisional COC. The DO has the final word in any issues involving the division, with consideration they do not violate these regulations and rules of conduct.
   • All orders have to be followed, whether in combat, training or in daily =LB= duty. They are not subject to OPEN communication and forums for discussion. (please take concerns up COC as needed)
   • The Divisional Council is the final Chain of Command. They have the final word in any issues involving the clan.

4. PARTICIPATION

   • All =LB= members are in a constant mode of training regardless of their individual skill level.
   • TRAINING SESSIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, Besides being A LOT of fun!
   • Members are Strongly Encouraged to make these events each week, as it is your key to success in =LB=.
   • A division has at least one weekly mandatory training session per SIM it officially covers.(This builds unity and is the FASTEST way you get promotions!).
   • Attendance will determine RANK, as well as time in the clan, and will be taken at practice. (Either by your COC or automatically in the communication database if possible)
   • =LB= accepts all real life needs and commitments. =LB= will not put any member into a decision between real life success and =LB=. Let your COC know if you are having challenges, they might be able to help.
   • DONATIONS ARE OPTIONAL. All contributions will go to the hosting and gaming servers that we play on or the council will decide on the appropriate use of surplus funds.
   • FORUMS ARE OPTIONAL. Post and surf at your discretion, Division Officers (DO) will email members any mandatory divisional info as well as post in forums.
   • If a member decides to leave =LB= the decisions will be upheld and not questioned.

5. PROMOTIONS, AWARDS AND POSITIONS

   • Rank will be awarded for attendance to members who remain in good conduct and will be according to a PREDETERMINED schedule for time in and attendance.
   • Promotions outside that schedule will require a Command Council vote .(If you are promoted to a position of authority your rank may increase outside the normal schedule.)
   • Promotions and awards will be handed out based on the following sorted principles:
     1. Dedication
     2. Attendance (Practice attendance)
     3. Conduct
     4. Teamwork
     5. Performance
   • Positions will be assigned based on the following sorted principles:

     2. Leadership abilities
     3. Teamwork

6. CONDUCT

   • =LB= members respect each other regardless of their origin, nationality, age, gender, race, religious beliefs or creed.
   • =LB= members respect non- =LB= personnel in the same way as =LB= members.
   • =LB= members show dignity, honor and integrity outside of =LB=. Any insult towards the member, its unit, another =LB= member, =LB= installation or =LB= as a whole are to be ignored and left uncommented. =LB= does not need to defend itself.
   • Members will respect and uphold their Chain of Command leadership as well as the Chain of Command leadership will respect and uphold their members.
   • Any and all language of an offensive nature will not be tolerated, whether on voice or text communications (chat, forums, email etc.).
   • No =LB= member will swear or curse extensively on ANY open communication or forum. (*If you MUST curse, do not press your push to talk key)
   • No =LB= member will broadcast, issue or post images, links or texts involving nudity, sexual content, or any other questionable adult content, whether in forums or email or voice comms.
   • It is mandatory for all =LB= members wear the =LB= tags in ventrilo, teamspeak, UBI or in any other public venues.
   • No =LB= member will question =LB= policies and regulations in public. They will instead use the Chain of Command to issue their thoughts so the proper channels will be able to resolve the matter swiftly.
   • Sportsman like behavior is mandatory.
   • Always remember: out there, a =LB= member is not perceived as an individual but as a =LB= representative. All its conduct will fall back on =LB=.

7. ALLEGIANCE

   • "Moonlighting" or membership in another organization using the same games as =LB= is not allowed. This includes game series and modifications.
   • =LB= does not form any “alliances” with other organizations.
   • =LB= will treat all other clans as “Friendly” until such time arises that they are “Hostile”, then communication via the members will be discouraged.

8. COMMUNICATIONS

   • =LB= official language is English.
   • Any and all language of an offensive nature will not be tolerated, whether on voice or text communications (chat, forums, email etc.).
   • No =LB= member will swear or curse extensively on ANY open communication or forum.
   • No =LB= member will broadcast, issue or post images, links or texts involving nudity, sexual content, or any other questionable adult content, whether in forums or email or voice comms.

9. PRIVACY

   • All data that =LB= is storing about a =LB= member will be kept secure even in the unlikely event that the member decides to leave =LB=.
   • All data =LB= submits to a member is to be kept secured and not accessible to any other person unless the data is explicitly declared public. This especially includes server IPs and passwords, other members' private email addresses and data that are protected from the public.
   • =LB= members are not allowed to communicate or compromise, by any means, our strategies, strengths, tactics, or weaknesses, with anyone outside of =LB=.
